School summer holidays are here – and there’s lots to do around Riverside. The Elan Valley Visitor Centre has an adventure playground, bike hire (including kids bikes and trailers), cafe & picnic area, and lots of walks in stunning scenery. Quackers at Newbridge is a popular play centre: call on 01597 860111 to book. Head to the lake at Llandrindod Wells for a great day out: dragon boat & canoe hire, pushchair-friendly paths, a playground with a huge sandpit, and a café. For a big playing field with a playground & outdoor table tennis table, pop down the road to Llanwrtyd Wells.
